Since I’m back in my ‘kampung’, I thought I’d allow myself to indulge in one of the things I enjoy most – cooking. Hehe. I’m not the best but thankfully no casualties have been reported so far, so I reckon that’s a pretty good sign ay? Haha. So let’s get started! Hehe. Today’s masak-masak menu…. *drum-roll* ….my preferred version of MACARONI & CHEESE! *big-smile*

all set for the oven. I obviously didn't stinge on the cheese. Haha.

Oh and guess what? In the midst of the preparation process, my mum surprised me with an apron she made for me almost 14 years back! Can you believe it?! It was so hard to believe that she actually kept it all these years. Haha. Amazing~

So after a fulfilling afternoon in the wet kitchen, ‘Hannah’s home-cooked Mac-&-Cheese’ was ready to be served... hehe. Big boss Mum gave me an A1 for this, so it couldn’t have been too bad right? Haha. More to come in the next post… *grin*

Esquire, soon soon I hope. Haha. Thanks for the brilliant idea on the cookbook. Haha. Eventually wanna do a food program but give me some time to gather the funds to produce it ya. Haha. Oh and I’m not sure which version of the H1N1 it was but it was the only one available in town, so regardless, it’s definitely the latest one Malaysia has. Hahaha. And I have a mac, but gave up using it after 3 months because so many problems, which is not supposed to be a norm for macs. Anyway, thanks for the advice and for sharing your thoughts. *smile*

CS, so cute la you. Haha. As long as it’s with my mum, it’s safe. After all, she’s already managed to do that for the past 14 years… Haha.

Your mummy is so sweet. That apron looked cute. Nostalgic feeling.. haha. Not quite a big fan of macaroni but that mac n' cheez seems pretty tempting! You're really good in cooking I must say. Will be anticipating for the next menu... *grin*

howeryiuuu? enjoying the life back in the hometown ay? after all these years. you really look like the real kampung girl, the real chun chun kampung girl. no make up and naturally sweet looking. woohooo. Any chance we all get to try some of your deliciously looking cooking at some point in time. And possibly you should publish a book too, called " The Good Food - Hannah Tan's Selection". always love anything pasta-rish. Is that the little you? Wow any more pics of the little you, post it la. Cool, cute and lovely parents you have (last post).

Thanks for the H1N1 jab thingy you posted, didnt know of the existence. Only read your post after my travel. got the clearance at the airport, god willing, shud be allright. What version was that for (now its H1N1 V3.2), anyhow better to be safe than sorry right.

That apron is your childhood memory, Hannah. Keep it at your closest place. =) (include it in your heart) Can I have some of those.. it smells good from here.. lol. Enjoy yourself silly Hannah. Keep on being cheerful as always. =)
