My dearest Adli, this one’s for you. *wink*

I attended a friend’s wedding in KK yesterday night and since it was a Malay style wedding, I decided to wear my first baju kebaya. For the first time in a long long time, I was forced to take small lady like steps, not because I wanted to, but because my skirt was so freakin’ tight! *laugh* I survived for almost 4 hours, and for that I reckon I deserve a brownie point! *smirk* Bring in the chocs! *laugh*

...I brutalized it! *laugh*

Although it was technically supposed to start at 7.30pm, we only got to dig in after the elaborate bridal procession and ‘merenjis’ ceremony at past 9.30pm. Nothing too surprising, especially with Malaysian weddings ay. Haha. With Chinese weddings here, I reckon it’s only customary for guests to arrive at least half an hour or 45 minutes late. Even so, you might just end up being one of the first few to arrive. *laugh* So to our non-Malaysian friends, if you’re ever invited to a local wedding reception, make sure you have something to eat before you head over, and if you dread waiting, don’t turn up on the time stated on the invitation card. A discount of at least half an hour will do you good, hence the infamous ‘Malaysian time’ *laugh*

Adli, so pandai la you. Haha. If I really go down to my panda roots and wear just fur then PETA might just chop my head off. Hahaha. And yeah, given the choice, like you, I’d definitely prefer jeans and tee, or even better – sun dress to hang loose…. *laugh* And yes, definitely got something special for the online family. *wink*

i'd prefer wearing jeans and t-shirt rather than formal attire :D all the time...

Adli, of course I remember. *smile* And you're always so sweet and say the nicest things. *smile* And yes yes, I don't think I would be able to tahan having to be so lady like more than I did yesterday. Pandas should be allowed to have unrestricted movements. *laugh* Food was edible although it would've been nice if they added some salt to the kurma. I think the chef forgot. *laugh*
