Sorry guys, didn’t have internet connection yesterday but I’m going to make up to the wait with this. Hehe. Let me begin by saying that although I absolutely love cars (blame it on my dad for initially wanting me to be a boy! *laugh*), I must admit that I’m no car expert. That’s a disclaimer there. Haha. However, I AM very fortunate to be able to work with experts who not only have details at their fingertips but also the sense of credibility and integrity tagged to their genuinely nice personalities. *smile* In that sense, a big portion of this trip was made worthwhile thanks to our Scuderia Systems partner in the UK HQ. Their pics will definitely come in later but in the meantime, I wanna show you what’s probably one of the last few brand new 430 Scuderias there is in the market. Enjoy… *wink*
For those of you who didn’t know, the 430 Scuderia is actually the stripped out version of the F430 that costs about 43,000 pounds (RM258,000 excluding our Malaysian duties of course! Haha) more. It weighs around 100 kg less than the standard version (also thanks to the use of carbon fibre, shaving weight off certain areas), has 30 hp more and is powered by a 4.3 liter V8 engine developing 510 hp at 8500 rpm. Serving as the successor to the Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia was unveiled by Michael Schumacher himself in 2007, a year after he stopped racing in F1 (although his comeback this year will definitely prove to be an exciting one, but then again, THAT’s another story *laugh. Still an Alonso fan BTW). Oh and of course, if you add on the new Tubi Style titanium exhaust system, you’ll have an added 15 hp to play with. Haha.
It uses an E-Diff electronic differential and F1-Trac traction and stability control combined in a single integrated system and because of the revised intake, exhaust and an ion-sensing knock-detection system that allows for a higher compression ratio (reducing the weight-to-power ratio from 2.96 kg/hp to 2.5 kg/hp), you have increased power in this piece of metal. *grin* I don’t think I need to go into the cosmetic differences now do I? Haha. Anyways, these just got fitted on…
Since we have the Tubi Titanium System for Scuderia (with only 5 being sold so far), just let us know if you want to get one of your own or any other parts or luxury sports cars for the matter ya. Anytime. *smile* Email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and we’ll sort you out, best prices if not best service, guaranteed. *laugh* BTW, the price for the new 458 Italia is scheduled to be announced in late Q3 and that monster is supposed to be able to do 0 – 100 in 3.4 secs. Madness.
