Friday – my favourite day of the week! Hehe. Don’t quite know why, but I enjoy working on the weekends more than I do at the beginning of the week. *grin* And today was an exceptionally special Friday for me. I had a real treat – lunch with a really good friend of mine, Jennifer (whom I haven’t seen in donkey years!) and her friend Reza.*smile* She looks fab as always and although we didn’t have much time to catch up (I had to run to my next work assignment after the quick lunch), it definitely made my day. So happy!! *smile* Oh and thanks for paying for lunch Reza! *grin*

Yesterday was my final presentation to the approval committee for the MDEC Pre-Seed fund my team and I applied for 2 months ago (also one of the reasons why I haven’t been sleeping lately *laugh*) as well as the recording session for the Alamaya animation movie. The recording session was fun-filled, and I had a ball with the voice acting, thanks to the animation’s creative team *grin* I play a really cute ‘hybrid’ creature, so you go figure! *laugh* The MDEC presentation on the other hand was a nerve-wrecking one! *laugh* Never felt more nervous in my life! *laugh* I reckon performing on stage would’ve been less stressful for me. Seriously!! *laugh* But…guess what?! I received an email from MDEC today to tell me that my team had made it! We got the grant! Woohooooo! I thank God for being so gracious. *smile* I’m so so so soooooooo happy and relieved, you cannot imagine!! *grin* Well, next step would be to put the plan in motion so keep a lookout for something in Q3 2010. *wink*

I’ll be saying hello to Penang next week. Yay! Penang, brace yourself for the wrath of the panda! Mwahaha~ *evil-laugh* Hopefully I will be able to get some sleep on Sunday night to shave off my panda eyes… *laugh*

Another exciting day to look forward to tomorrow so gonna try and get the urgent work matters cleared and out of the way soon so that I can get some rest tonight. Been up for too long that even coffee and energy drinks can’t fight. *laugh* Rest well guys. Enjoy the weekend! *grin* Love you guys!!! Mwah~

MDEC? hehe... my college kinda have a relationship with the company... related to games actually ^^
planned to work either with them or CodeMasters
