I got a shock when I saw this in the papers today, or yesterday since it's already past midnight! *laugh* Written by Jo Teh.
Wanna see what she looks like? Hehe. The stereotyping of ugly journalists and writers just goes down the drain with this one…! *laugh*
Jo Teh, you’re the sweetest! Thanks for helping me promote the movie and for saying such nice things about me although I’m definitely far from being sultry and sexy!!! Hahaha. Guys, head to www.dailychilli.com for the rest of the writeup k. Support The Star Papers. *smile*
Will be at the Asian Heritage Row later to host the launch of HP’s finest and latest range of notebooks – my darlings! Hehe. Can’t wait, not because I’m such a geek (yes, yes I know… *laugh*) but because they’re gonna be revealing the world’s thinnest full performance notebook! Speaking about slim notebooks, I definitely got ripped off by the Macbook Air last year and almost threw it against the wall in frustration! *laugh* It’s with my dad now. Wondering how he’s coping with it… hehe. Mum didn’t mention any cracked walls back in our Kuching home yet, so should be ok… *laugh*
Anyways they’re also gonna be revealing a new premium sub-brand of consumer notebooks (which I was told is very elegant and luxurious… foo-yoh~), the new limited edition designer notebooks, the next evolution of mini-computing experiences and the new touch products!!! It’s all in my emcee script but I’m telling you first…hehe. I’ll get the team to take pics of the goodies for you to see ya.
BTW, what do you think of “ANGEL”? Hehe. Must use your headphones to listen properly ya! I did the backing vocals all by myself. *sheepish-grin*
Ok guys, gotta go back to work. Trying to lock in a few more year end jobs so that I can stay in KL longer. Mwahahaha~ *evil-laugh* Cari makan, cari makan. Literally! *laugh*
We just finished round one of the rehearsal for this evening and I have a break so decided to run down to Mojo (event is at Asian Heritage Row in KL) to grab a bite. So here I am – my glutton self with a whole claypot of chicken rice all to myself! Mwahahaha~
Saw the range of notebooks their gonna be launching later – cool~ I have my eyes on a particular sleek and very sexy one. Hehe. Will post up pics later so that you can help me decide if I should change my current ‘boyfriend’ (I’m still using the Sony Vaio) to any of those ya. Haha. Give me an excuse to go shopping! Hahaha.
Oh and tomorrow morning between 8am – 10am I’ll be saying hi to you from Hitz.FM so make sure you tune in k. Promise? You can tune in REAL TIME from the Web at http://www.hitz.fm/ so no excuses! Hehe.
Gotta run so better quickly makan. Talk to you later! Mwah~
This no-sleep work marathon is really stretching my tiny brains to its limits and so many things have been going hay-wire, all at the same time… so all I can say is… *drum-roll* Hallelujah! Hahaha. Trying to take things positively and believing that God is only stretching my faith in this character building year. *laugh* Well, I’m happy and VERY fortunate that I still have you to hold my hand through every step of the way though... THAT definitely made the difference! *wink* Thank you guys. *smile*
see Leo trying to steal a snapshot of the incident? Well I caught him in the act! Haha. We practically had our meeting at the side of the road at midnight... *laugh* talk about productivity! *laugh*
My yellow banana was down yesterday at close to midnight as I was on my way home from work. And yes, I do enjoy working… *smile* …even on Sundays. *laugh* Anyways the workshop I sent it to for my diagnostics probably didn’t screw the nut in properly at my rear right, near the brakes (aiks, that sounds so indecent!!! *laugh*) and the entire back just gave way and sat on my rear tires. Right on the LDP! Hahaha. Quite freaky ya… *laugh* After the whole tow truck ordeal (it was a task getting it on the tow truck because my tyres couldn’t move from being suffocated by the yellow bee-hind *laugh*) and by the time I got home last night all sticky, stinky and sleepy, it was past 2am and I still had my presentation to prepare, team emails to reply and 2 lists to come up with by 8am. So another all-nighter it was, but hey, I’m still alive and kicking! Hehe.
My presentation at Cyberjaya was a rather interesting one today and we’ll just have to wait and see if I get to the next stage of evaluation for this grant. Kan-chong~ Hehe. Oh and as promised, the rough vocals from yesterday’s session will be uploaded by Aaron soon (have been having problems sending the file over to Aaron). Remember – it’s fresh from the studio and we still need to edit, mix and master it...but I just wanted you to be the first to hear the RAW version, so brace your ears and try not to cringe k…hehe. It’s the original version of “INDAH”, and it’s dedicated to you for being my angel… *smile*
After this I’m gonna be burning midnight oil again on the emcee script for the HP Finest event which I told you about the other day. Deadline is first thing in the morning. Weeee~ Hehe. Well, at least I have a reason to stay up and eat more! Mwahaha~
For some reason, I’m really looking forward to the event this Wednesday. Maybe because I’m such a geek. Hehe. They’re gonna be launching some pretty cool new gadgets and I guess that will pretty much answer my question on what my current ‘digital boyfriend’ replacement should be… *laugh* Any HP fans or pros here? Haha. My existing Vaio is dying on me and I’ll need to change soon soon soon! Can’t wait for Wednesday! Haha.
I’ll let you guys know once I get the sneak peak of what they’re gonna be revealing EXACTLY (was told the mini HP is quite sleek... yes?). Will keep you in the loop, but in the meantime, here’s a big panda hug from sleepy ol’ me…hehe *BIG-HUG-SQUEEZE*!!! There! Speak soon! *big-smile*
Big bro Joey and Regine treated me to a nice dinner (a proper one off instant noodles, and without the computer beside me, mind you *pat-on-the-back-for-panda*) at Jakes, which was indeed a nice change from the usual meal-on-the-go. Haha. Although I’m more of a rice person (yes, they call me the Chinawoman! *laugh* If I may, I’d like to say it’s more Malaysian than anything else… *laugh*), I enjoyed my meal, not just because the steak was good, but because the company was great. *smile*
garden delicacies? *laugh* I love them nevertheless... *laugh*
Needed to de-stress a bit from the sleepless rushed week at work, and food therapy + good company (wah, I sound like a rapper yo~ *laugh*) was all I needed. 1 happy camper! Hehe. *big-grin*
medium-well, not sure if you can tell... hehe
Since dinner was off work, I thought I’d sneak into Jakes with my buruk jeans, tee-shirt and cardigan, not to mention my ah-ma glasses, and get away with it... but I guess not. *laugh* After our meal, the friendly team at Jakes wanted a shot so we had this taken. So shy la… if only I knew, I’d make an extra effort to look more decent for picture taking instead of spoiling the pic! *laugh*
Thanks Joey and Regine for the wonderful dinner. *smile* Joey, have a good shoot in Indo and please be careful ya! One day when I have more time off work (ahem!), I reckon I should do a food hunt to determine the best steak in town. I'll call it, "Panda's Choice" *laugh* and we can even have an award for Best Steak, Best Chap Fan, Best Seafood *wink-wink*.... One day, one day. The day will come, and Panda shall have a day off soon...Amen. *laugh*
I’m still at work. 5.50am. So tired. Need to catch a short nap before I start running around like a headless chicken again in another 3 hours (thank God people start work later on Saturdays!). *sleepy-laugh* If you know of any successful cloning formulas please promise I would be the first to know k. Serious!
The APICTA (Asia Pacific ICT Awards) night was a rather interesting one for me. For starters, I never felt so intimidated in my life, being surrounded with so many bright, intelligent, creative and innovative people – young and old. And second, I didn’t know so many of you Tweeting members were there as well! You brainy lot you! Haha. But it’s good to know, and ahem.... please allow me to say that I’m truly honoured to be in the presence of so many geniuses. Hehe.
can't believe I have such muscular arms! *laugh* Not good, not good... *shaking-head* Too much exercise on the computer! Haha.
organizer briefing
the sleepy panda *laugh*
The award I presented was for the Best Student Project (Tertiary) and since Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing bailed out on me (I can’t believe I scare so many people off!) my substitute partner was the very talented winner of this award in 2005, Nizam. So there I was, with another genius, trying to make sure I don’t sound too stupid… *laugh* I reckon the best thing I could do at that time was to soak in the aura of intellect around me, in hopes that I would become a tad smarter. Hahaha.
at work with a genius *smile*
...and then there were 2 more! Soakin' in the intellectual aura... *kung-fu-panda-meditating-pose*
Mind you, I wasn’t the only one in a cheongsam that night. There were singing and dancing cheongsam girls on stage for the opening gambit (casts from P.Ramlee The Musical)! Haha. Long night and since I had been out the entire day and still had to go back to romance my computer over my instant noodle dinner I decided to sneak out and leave earlier than the rest, right after my award presentation! Haha. Well, I DID need a headstart at work so don’t blame me la… *laugh*
ready to go! haha
Had to change my flight ticket to leave for Tokyo only on the 18th because my management from Japan wanted to make a trip to our beautiful city to officiate an agreement with me on the 17th being the first Malaysian to commercially venture into the Japanese entertainment industry, so I get so stay in town for another 3 days! Yay!
We have a lot of work to do in preparation for this, not to mention my grant application’s first evaluation presentation on Monday (aiks! Looks like I have another sleepless week ahead of me) and an event to host on Wednesday (HP’s Finest which I’m soooo excited about – new cool gadgets coming out, woohooo~). Oh, I may need your advice on a few things with regards to the event, but for now, I’m gonna make myself a nice cheese sandwich for breakfast. *grin* Jom makan and good morning, good morning, good morning (doing a Yasmin Yusoff hehe) everyone! Hehe. Have a fantabulous day ya! Big panda hugs!
