I was in for a very pleasant surprise today for the shoot of a feature in their upcoming issue. First off, it was with one of my favourite photographers, Kin Mun at his new studio (found out only after I arrived). Second, it was with an amazing super team of very sweet and dynamic young women… and third, we wrapped earlier than anticipated! It’s not a very common thing for shoots to run according to schedule (especially in Malaysia *laugh*) but the team worked very efficiently and I was time to head off to my production meeting after the shoot. Happy happy! *smile*
Don’t forget to get your copy in February ya! Hehe. The team is working on preparations for this Thursday’s Press Conference for the Charity Christmas Concert (I’m so excited! *grin*) and what’s gonna make it more special is the fact that my family will be there! Hehe. Mum, dad and my youngest sister Victoria arrived in KL just this evening so I’m hoping everything will go well for them to join us on Thursday. Unfortunately my second sister Gloria is in preparation for her professional paper examination on the 15th so she won’t be able to pop by. Nevertheless she’ll be there for the actual concert on 20th so I’m happy. *grin*
RSVP your guest list for the 20th December Concert complimentary ticket allocation ya. If you can being along a gift of any value for the underprivileged children, even better! It can be of any value and in the form of toys, books, stationeries, school items, etc. Whatever comes from the heart. *smile* Venue is confirmed at The Gardens Hotel Ballroom, Mid Valley, so Ivan, I hope this will be easier for you and your friends. *smile*
For those of you bloggers have RSVPed to join us on Thursday, I am looking forward to seeing you soon!!! *grin* Hugs and lotsa luuuarve~ Mwah~
Long weekend at work for me and haven't had the chance to go online until now. Hectic hectic, and I'm looking forward to a day off after the 20th December Charity Concert. The good news though, is that I managed to get a couple of hours sleep last night which was truly a luxury... hehe. Actually, the truth is that I fell asleep on my computer while working on today's event script! *laugh* Errrr... not very proud of myself! *laugh*
The event at Aloha Club on Friday night didn't quite go so well with major problems with the sound system, etc. I only got to perform at close to midnight and having to wait around in a smoky club didn't help with the bad throat I was having. *laugh* But having very gracious hosts made up for all that. *smile* The management of the club and event organizers were really nice people and minus the technical glitches I went home a happy camper. Thank you Aloha Club for the invitation and the warm hospitality on Friday night. *smile*
By the time I got home after the gig and showered it was close to 3am and I had to get started on material preparations for a day of meetings and a rehearsal at Shah Alam, marking the start of a long Saturday. Nevertheless, but I was so happy to see some of you at the Aloha Club gig, including TK! Seeing you there really made my day! *smile* Thank you guys for your support and love which made all the difference. *smile*
Will share pics of the event when I get the complete lot from the Zlwyn (thanks Zlwyn!!!) but for now I wanna share pics from today's Project-500 briefing with you. *grin* I was honoured to be invited to host the event which marked the commencement of the project's beta testing phase. The top 500 social media users from all over Malaysia were present for the event at Cineleisure, after which everyone was treated to a complimentary screening of Twilight. In a nutshell, Project-500 is a platform which aims to consolidate all your social media sites under 1 login, for both web and mobile access. Coolness~ *grin*
Spa vouchers and a customized HP Mini were given out to several lucky people courtesy of Project 500. I left right after the event and had to miss the screening to get some work out of the way but no complaints. At least I have time to put this up and say a big HELLOOOOO to you! Hehe. Miss you guys. Sorry for not being able to spend much time with you last week. Being totally stretched at work but am happy nevertheless. Very productive year end indeed. *smile* Thank God for the wonderful team I have to share the load with me. My working familiy...hehe.
Going to move on to a few more pending work assignments so this is the zombie panda signing off for now. Have a great start to the week guys! Love you~ *smile*
Have you ever seen a Speedy Gonzales Panda? If you haven't this is what it looks like... *laugh*
Haven't had the chance to sleep so pretty much surviving on my energy reserves now. *laugh* By Sunday night (after my last work engagement) I should have some time to breathe so really looking forward to it. Hoping to get some sleep tonight too, otherwise definitely pengsan at tomorrow's gig! Haha. Oh and hey I just found out that the Aloha Club gig will only start after 11pm, but if you wanna go in without having to pay for the cover charge you need to be there before 10pm... haha.
We've been rehearsing late nights but so far only managed to slot in 3 rehearsal sessions (which I don't think is enough! *laugh*) so it's gonna be a rather scary one for me tomorrow! *laugh*Light and easy with more 90's pop and original songs so don't expect too much k... *smile*
Meantime, please keep me in prayer. The lack of sleep and too much talking (presentations, meetings, discussions, etc) have taken a toll on my throat so will need a miracle to have it up and running without the pain by tomorrow evening. Otherwise, you'll be the first to see Speedy Gonzales Panda croak! Hahahaha. Love you to the max! Mwah~
I didn't get to sleep last night and doesn't look like I'm gonna be getting any sleep tonight either but I'm happy that it's been a very productive week. *smile* Feeling rather exhausted so trying to clear some time tomorrow night to rest up my throat for Friday's gig at Aloha Club. I think I could just fall asleep typing this *laugh* but gotta tahan a bit to finish up some work before my mixing session at the recording studio 1st thing in the morning.*yawn*Cari makan, cari makan! Haha.
Well I sure do hope your week is going well so far. *smile* Time flies though, doesn't it? Anyways the 20th December Christmas Charity Concert with Yours Truly and a few other friends from the industry is well on its way, so brace yourselves for a fun afternoon! Hehe.
Y'know I had meant to make a trip to the bank since last week but haven't actually managed to get that done because of my crazy work schedule (yes, I'm the headless chicken lives on! *laugh*). But this morning after my 9am presentation I actually realized I had an online e-banking account which I haven't used for the longest time. If only I realized that earlier this week! *laugh* Silly me! Haha.
Oh well... *laugh* Anyway, there I was in my car attempting to access my account online when I noticed that the site had a brand spanking new interface - so much simpler, cleaner and easier to navigate. Somehow the loading time seemed faster too. Haha. Very refreshing indeed. *smile* Have any of you seen the new RHB Bank website (https://logon.rhb.com.my/default.htm)? Took some screen shots for you if you haven't. Hehe. I personally like it better than the last. With the new re-registration page, you can reset your account password (which I did today! *laugh*) by simply typing in your ATM card number and pin. *wink*
And I found something else I am so so happy about in the new site - the Foreign TT feature! Now I can TT $ to Japan for my bills without having to go through the lines at the physical bank itself. So much easier. Imagine how much time I would save by doing things myself online instead of getting stuck in the long bank queues! Not a big fan of queues, so you go figure! Haha.
Oh and I also discovered a fast-growing list of billers which include hosting companies, hospitals, hotels, charity funds, colleges and even MOL (besides the usual utility companies)! I counted and found 189 billers on the list. Definitely an improvement from the previous site! Haha. Guys, you can even reload your mobile phone credit online via this site. *wink*
Yet to find another online e-banking site like this so thought I'd share this new discovery with you. Hehe. Check it out and let me know what you think la ya. I'm gonna have to move on to my proposals because I have less than 5 hours to work on it. Wish me luck and please keep me in prayer ya. Appreciate it. Love love LOVE you! Mwah~
Harajuku was the theme and a few hours were all they had to prep their models for the big showdown last Sunday. Yet, they all did a pretty amazing job and for a moment I actually felt as though I was back in Harajuku, Tokyo! Haha.
judging seat *smile*
the judging process... *smile*
Not only did the competing teams have to dress their model, they also did their own makeup, hair and storyline for the stage presentation of their individual creations. Yes, very different from the typical fashion competition indeed. *smile* Some of the concepts were very impressive and I reckon that THAT was what differentiated the winners from the rest of the finalists. Yet, this batch of finalists were a rare breed. Extremely talented and fully dedicated to the task, going out of their way to translate their ideas into a stage presentation. As one of the judges, I was truly impressed. *smile*

One more day to the gig at Aloha Club. Looking forward to seeing some of you there! *smile* My Japanese management company boss Hayakawa San will be there. So nervous!!! Hahaha. Anyways, I wanna share Bangkok pics with you soon!!! Mwah~
