For 3 days we were treated to the comfort of shooting indoors with air-conditioning and proper toilets. *grin* We were at Tun Mahathir’s Galeri Perdana, surrounded by beautiful paintings and personal belongings of Tun himself.
on set with AC Mizal
This week, we had a whole group of extras who joined us from set, and I had the privilege to meet some of the nicest people from all over the world. *smile*
with Afdlin, AC and an extra *smile*
MIB *wink*
with hot Daphne and Carmen *smile*
Believe it or not, my good friend Rebecca was also on set with us as an extra! *grin* It’s always nice to have a familiar face around especially if you’re shooting on 22-hour shoot days. *smile* Anyways, when the week is over, we will be transferring to the next location, Langkawi Lagoon Resort. *smile* It seems to be getting better so let’s pray it stays that way ya… *laugh* Wish me luck! *wink*

strive to put Malaysia on the map as
an Asian hub for creative content and entertainment. Thank you for sharing the
vision and going on this journey with us. *smile*

I finally managed to get my hands
on the pics last night., thanks to our official photographer Manchong. *smile* Thrills and spills from the action sequence day at the
lighthouse, for your eyes only. *wink* (All pictures courtesy of My Spy)

This one in particular ran until
7.30am the next morning, so we were all zombies. Literally. Two hours later I
was to take the next flight out back to KL
for the ‘H’ Factor workshop in KL so you go figure… *laugh*

Anyway, these are the miracle
makers from Thailand.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a stunt double like Carmen and Daphne so don’t
expect too many fancy moves from yours truly ya. *laugh* The other two hotties
will on the other hand will be reflecting the Malaysian versions of Angelina
Jolie and Denise Richards. *smile*
At least now you have a reason to watch the movie more than 3 times ya…! *laugh*

The shoot at this particular
location was in many ways rather intense for all of us. Besides the action sequences,
the weather was quite extreme with heavy rain and wind strong enough to break
the windows in the lighthouse that we were in. During that commotion, a few of
the stunt men were hurt by the broken glasses. Regardless, the shoot had to go
on.

This week, we’re shooting at Tun Mahathir’s Gallery Perdana, thankfully
in the comfort of being indoors with air-conditioning and proper toilets. *laugh*
More pics for you soon and yes, I haven’t forgotten about the ones from last
weekend’s chapter of ‘H’ Factor. *smile*
Stay tuned!

As we concluded the last leg or the ‘H’ Factor Nationwide
Creative Youth Workshop on Sunday at Seri
Pacific Hotel
KL, I headed straight
back to Langkawi to resume work on the film first thing on Monday morning together with Carmen Soo, Daphne
Iking and the rest. Another chapter at Nadia’s Inn (for those who missed out on the first series of pictures of Nadia's Inn, check out the previous blog post, "Film Shoot in Langkawi ")
to look forward too… *laugh*
Daphne, Carmen and myself
Thankfully, the condition of my skin had improved throughout
the week and I was ready to roll without being drugged out with the drowsy meds
this time. *laugh* I want to share with you my experience with the stunt team
from Thailand but that will have to wait until I get my hands on the official
production pics, so hang in there ya…

In the meantime, this is where
all the fight scenes took place. Lighthouse at Telaga Harbour…

I have only two words to summarize our weekend with the
Sabahans during the ‘H’ Factor Nationwide
Creative Youth Workshop in Sutera Harbour
– KK Rocks! *wink*
waiting for the workshop to begin
The energy, enthusiasm and receptiveness of the east
Malaysians is simply overwhelming. The team, speakers and I loved and enjoyed every
moment of it. Despite the fact that Sutera
Harbour could only cater
for a capacity of 180 pax max, we had a turnout of 300 people. So packed that
we had to put two people to a seat in some of the rows.

Hans and a volunteer
Also, talent is
what the Sabahans definitely have. Without a doubt. *smile* During my TV
hosting segment alone, I had already discovered 2 potential hosts – Raoul and Jasmine – who not only had the spunk but the guts and wit to stand
out among the rest. Spontaneity and versatility put to the test – and passed
with flying colours! *wink*

song request
I believe that after the recent weekend in Sabah, my question about whether we should bring ‘H’
Factor back to KK next year was
answered with full conviction. A definite yes! *smile*
TV hosting showdown
Besides the workshop and its outstanding participants, the
team and I also had the opportunity to savour some of the best edibles the town
could offer – seafood – all thanks to Fellest’s
parents (Mr. & Mrs. Yan) who had
graciously arranged to host an after-workshop-dinner for the crew and speakers.
*smile*
Being our lucky day, we also managed to catch a lobster
changing its skin – LIVE! So strange yet intriguing. Have you seen that happen
before? The entire process right in front of your eyes? Amazing…
the change...
The ‘H’ Factor
Nationwide Creative Youth Workshop finale will take place this Sunday as we
end the last leg of the campaign at KL’s Best
Western Premier Seri Pacific Hotel (beside PWTC). We don’t have many spots
left so if you haven’t booked yours yet, you had better do so quick. Call Leonard Chua (013 – 356 1111) or Leonard Khoo (013 – 209 1111) if you‘d
like us to make arrangements for group blockings. Alternatively, individual
registrations for guaranteed spots can be done online at www.h-factor.info.
See you guys this Sunday ya!
