This post is dedicated to a very special and courageous young boy who never gave up his fight.

Thanks to Manu San, we have pics of our dear Dipak who is showing great progress in recovery. *smile*

[ALL PICTURES COURTESY OF MANU SAN]

Your prayers made the difference so please continue to keep in him prayer ya. *smile* A message from my classmate Manu San:

I would like to thank all of you and all friends of yours and want to give message thru these pictures that:

Human life is full of uncertainty. Nothing is accident but incident because its well planned long time before we came here. Because we don't know about future, so many things in our life look like an accident. While looking Dipak's incident what I have realised that its only GOD (The Energy which can Generate, Operates its generation and can Distract its own creation in positive sense) who has saved Dipak's life. And all this could happen because of many prayers and wishes for him. I remember you said that GOD can't say NO to many of us and it was true.He was half conscious all the time and even doctors were surprised while watching his will power. He had shown quick progress in such a way that even intellectuals and doctors had accepted the magic of extra ordinary force behind it. Hope this incident would inspire all of us to trust that GOD is always with us and only HE can make impossible to possible.

Thanks once again to you and your fans.....”

So thanks again guys for all your kind words of encouragement for Dipak. *smile* In the next post, pics from my shoot with Shape Magazine…hehe. Speak soon!!!! *grin*

Where do I start? *laugh*

Perhaps to begin, I should say that I finally have the chance to breathe now… at this very moment as I’m typing this post. I’m exhausted but happy. Happy to be back in Tokyo, happy that I had a very productive week in KL (although very draining! *laugh*), happy that my computer is up and running now (it crashed on me last week), happy that I will be seeing some of you on the 24th, and happy that I’m still alive, sane and well. *laugh*

I’m not sure if I should begin by telling you about the horrifying loss of all my data when my notebook crashed or whether I should tell you what the doctor said about my perpetual headache/migraine for the past 2 months. *laugh*

Why don’t I start with the pics from mum’s birthday? Hehe. Thanks for your well wishes on her birthday guys! *smile* We had a cake galore after I got off work that night so it was a really nice treat. Hehe.

Oh and speaking of treats, although I didn’t get to indulge in as much local Malaysian food as I had initially planned to (I spent an average of 5 of 7 nights eating my consolidated daily meal of McDonalds and KFC at 4.30am *laugh*), I did have the pleasure of ta-paoing (take-away) the Bangsar Seafood Village butter crabs which lasted me 2 good meals! *laugh* Talk about being economical. *laugh*

Our intimate press conference on the 5th went well although I missed some of you… :-p

The post event coverage can be found here…

...thanks to the resourcefulness of some of our online family members. Hehe. BTW, can any of you tell me how I can get a physical or a scanned copy of the Sun’s writeup? I missed it and being a free paper, it was impossible to get a copy at the end of the afternoon… :-(

Anyhoo, before I forget, I wanted to tell you the good news I received about Dipak from Manu San today. He’s up and recovering well, praise God! *smile* Thank you again guys for praying for him and for all your kind words of encouragement since my 1st post on him. It means a lot and you definitely made the difference. *smile* Gonna bug Manu San tomorrow for a picture of Dipak since none of us have actually met him. Would be nice to put a face to the name ya? *smile*

Today I went for my first lesson of the new semester at the Japanese language school. A total nightmare since I had missed the start of the course when I was in KL last week. I have tonight to finish up the bulk of homework, catch up on lessons and prepare for a consolidated kanji test (supposed to be today but the teacher was kind enough to give me a day to self-study and cram what I had missed before I took the test *smile*). Pray for me k! Hehe.

I think my goal for this week would be to catch up on the sleep I missed out on last week (on top of everything else *laugh*) since I was medically warned to put serious thought into making lifestyle changes if I value my life. *laugh* 2 out of the 2 doctors I consulted last week advised me on the same thing. Guess what my diagnosis was? *laugh* You won’t believe it la.. *laugh* It was Chronic Stress which is apparently causing my perpetual migraine pains. No fancy medical jargons. Just plain Chronic Stress. And the doctor’s prescription? At least 7 – 8 hours of sleep daily and rest. *laugh* I think I’ll get started after the upcoming kanji test. *laugh*

Oh well, I gotta do my best so we’ll see…hehe. I’ll continue the rest in the next post k. Still have the “ANGEL” media brief pics and those from the pool-side shoot I did with one our local mags to share with you. *grin* Meantime, I have a million things to sort out now. Boo-hoo-hoo… But since my computer is all set and ready to be used now, I thought I’d ‘open-ceremony’ by saying hi to you in this post… only because I miss you. *smile*Hope you had a good weekend and a great start to this brand new week ahead. *smile* Back to work for me, so see you in the next post!!!! Mwah!!!

Asakusa
Written by Hannah Tan
Friday, 02 April 2010

Today I’m gonna take you on a virtual tour to one of the most popular tourist spots in Tokyo. Known as one of the ‘low-towns’ building-wise, Asakusa is in fact one of the oldest in Japan with some major parts of the town destroyed in the air raids of World War Two.

The main attraction in this town is the Sensoji Temple (built in the 7th century) with its big arched entrance being a must-take photo spot. With a pedestrian street lined up with souvenir and typical Japanese food shops, visitors like us can never leave unamused. *laugh*

For those who particularly enjoy eating the Japanese rice cracker biscuits, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see how they actually make it, not to mention enjoy having a taste of a freshly made cracker, just like mum did. *smile*

Since food is something that always keeps me happy, I have to share my enthusiasm with you on the discovery of a rather small but famous ‘kakiage’ shop right at the corner of a street near the temple. I don’t think it could possibly fit more than 16 customers at one time but it sure does serve one of the yummiest Japanese meals you could possibly find on that particular street. *grin*

For those who have no clue what ‘kakiage’ is, think ‘tempura’, but in a lump of bite-sized seafood and vegetable pieces battered and deep-fried to perfection, topped with a slightly sweetened thick sauce. A typical ‘kakiage’ set meal would consist of the battered seafood on top of rice, with a bowl of miso soup and pickles on the side, and if you think the Japanese eat small portions to maintain their size, you’re wrong! Haha. The 3 of us ended up sharing a portion for 2 – consisting of a tempura and ‘kakiage’ set. Mind you, we’re stuffed! Haha.

In the next post I wanna take you with me to Yokohama’s Sea Paradise to check out the white dolphins! Hehe. Stay tuned! *grin*

Last Pre-Pro Session
Written by Hannah Tan
Tuesday, 30 March 2010

We just finished our last pre-production session before I head back to KL at the end of the week. Yay!!!!! *grin* Happy happy! *big-smile*

I’ll be back to officially release “ANGEL” the Single on 5th April at Starbucks Tropicana City Mall and also announce the commencement of our first Family Hour Video Chat starting April 24th. *smile* Can’t wait!!! *grin* A few other updates as well but most importantly since it would probably be another quarter before I get to make the next trip back to KL again, I wanna squeeze in some time to personally autograph your CD’s.

So for those who requested for this earlier, the best time to catch me would be right after the Press Conference (PC) on 5th April (this coming Monday). The PC will be from 3 – 4.45pm and I have to rush to the studio for a 6pm recording session right after, so if you’re dropping by, please look for Evelyn (019-356 1111) or Leonard (013-356 1111) at the media registration booth at around 4.45pm. Within that small window of time I’ll do my very best to accommodate as many as I can. Promise. *smile*

Looks like a hectic trip back  but nevertheless I’m glad to be able to set foot on Malaysian soil again, and if course, sort out the necessary at work. At the same time, I’m so happy to say that I already booked my parents’ flight from Kuching to KL so that I can spend some time with them during this short trip back. Mum’s birthday is on 4th April, so it’s just perfect timing. Hehe….

BTW, if you’re already registered as my online family and if you’re going to be joining us on 24th April for our first live video chat, email me your Username, registered email address, mobile number and full name to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ya. I have something special for you. *wink* Laters! Mwah!
