Last Pre-Pro Session
Written by Hannah Tan
Tuesday, 30 March 2010

We just finished our last pre-production session before I head back to KL at the end of the week. Yay!!!!! *grin* Happy happy! *big-smile*

I’ll be back to officially release “ANGEL” the Single on 5th April at Starbucks Tropicana City Mall and also announce the commencement of our first Family Hour Video Chat starting April 24th. *smile* Can’t wait!!! *grin* A few other updates as well but most importantly since it would probably be another quarter before I get to make the next trip back to KL again, I wanna squeeze in some time to personally autograph your CD’s.

So for those who requested for this earlier, the best time to catch me would be right after the Press Conference (PC) on 5th April (this coming Monday). The PC will be from 3 – 4.45pm and I have to rush to the studio for a 6pm recording session right after, so if you’re dropping by, please look for Evelyn (019-356 1111) or Leonard (013-356 1111) at the media registration booth at around 4.45pm. Within that small window of time I’ll do my very best to accommodate as many as I can. Promise. *smile*

Looks like a hectic trip back  but nevertheless I’m glad to be able to set foot on Malaysian soil again, and if course, sort out the necessary at work. At the same time, I’m so happy to say that I already booked my parents’ flight from Kuching to KL so that I can spend some time with them during this short trip back. Mum’s birthday is on 4th April, so it’s just perfect timing. Hehe….

BTW, if you’re already registered as my online family and if you’re going to be joining us on 24th April for our first live video chat, email me your Username, registered email address, mobile number and full name to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ya. I have something special for you. *wink* Laters! Mwah!

Our first FAMILY HOUR Video Chat in April
Written by Hannah Tan
Saturday, 27 March 2010

Guys, because of my Japan schedule, can we do our first KL FAMILY HOUR Video chat on the 3rd Saturday/Sunday of April (24th/25th)? *smile* Let me know preferred timing if you're ok with this ya. Proposed venue for you guys in KL will be at one of the Starbucks outlet since they have good internet connection (not to mention coffee too! Haha) and if we have 15 or more peple then I can also try to ask if they can provide us a projector for the hour. I'll be chatting with you from my apartment in Tokyo and Leonard/Evelyn from my KL team will be coordinating our lil' date at the KL end. Hehe. Let me know what you think k. *smile*

Meantime, for those outside KL who won’t be able to join us this time round, don’t feel left out because if you can find 15 or more at the city/state you live in then I’ll chat with you guys from wherever you are, even if it’s outside Malaysia k. *smile* Love you just as much, don’t worry. *smile* Mwah!

p/s: SS, I would LOVE to hear and see you play your guitar cover version of Angel then tooooo! Get ready! *grin*

Live video chat anyone?
Written by Hannah Tan
Friday, 26 March 2010

I have an idea I thought I’d bounce off you. *grin* What do you think about a live video chat once a month? Instead of having our usual “FAMILY HOUR” at the chatroom on our Official Website, we can vary it with a live video chat via Skype so that we can see one another and actually chat face to face. Hehe.

For starters we can try this out with our online family members in KL and if it works, we can do it with any other place too. Even from outside Malaysia. *smile*

You pick one day of the month, eg. the first Saturday or Sunday of the month, as well as a scheduled local time, and I’ll get my team to arrange a meeting point/place to set up a notebook so that I can Skype with you as a group from where I am in Japan. *smile*

What do you think? *smile*

Disneyland with Mum and Dad (Part 2)
Written by Hannah Tan
Wednesday, 24 March 2010

Play time!!!! Hehe. Since we didn’t get to go on any of the rides, we ended up deriving our own definition of fun. Haha. Check out what the Tans got up to… *laugh* Yeeeeeeha!

After all the walking, playing, eating and ummmm...flower-picture-taking, *laugh* mum and dad decided to make a Disneyland medallion each... so cute. Hehe. Hot off the machine!

Since we didn't get to do much because of the people jam...

...mum and dad looked forward to the scheduled outdoor parades instead. And thanks to the raving reviews about it from my Uncle Steve and his family in KL, mum and dad were more excited about "Jubilation" than any average kid at the park. So much so that dad made us camp on the parade street almost an hour ahead of schedule. Hahaha. Oh but then again, so did many other people... *laugh*

Unfortunately, because of the strong wind during the day, all the outdoor parades were cancelled much to everyone's disappointment. Worse still, they only announced the cancellation right before the scheduled timing... Nevertheless, the hustle and bustle at the park didn't cease and I believe that as an effort to appease the crowd, the Disneyland management decided to send out the marching brass band... *laugh*

Well at least it had our attention, but we decided to leave not too long after that since there wasn't much else to do except eat and shop for over-priced China-made Disneyland merchandize! Haha. We had fun as a family though and as always, with good company, you're bound to enjoy yourself regardless of what you do ay? *smile* Most importantly mum and dad fulfilled their dream of visiting Disneyland for the very first time. *smile*

Disneyland with mum and dad (PART 1)

Hey guys! Pics from Disneyland with the folks...

...but first, I’d like to say thank you to all who prayed for Dipak. I received news from Manu San after he arrived in Switzerland:

“He (Dipak) is doing well but still in Comma. His main injury is on head and doctor had major surgery already two time. He is showing good improvement and shows some reactions on his body time to time which is very good. With all those difficulties his face has light and it has come because of many prays and best wishes around the world. I am overwhelmed to see the hospitality of Swiss hospital and they are really taking good care. Now they are trying slowly to get back him from comma then they will know more about mental injuries. But I am sure LORD is great and he taking care of all of us each single second. Its painful to see this kind of incident in our life but one thing I know that it gives us more confidence on our trust on HIM.

Please pass my regards to your parents and thanks to many of your friends who have sent great words of wishes for Dipak and as you said GOD can't say NO after listning voices of many devotees.

Please continue to pray for Dipak and we’ll all hope to hear some good news from Manu San again soon ya! *smile*

Meantime, because there’s too many pics to fit in to 1 blog post, I’m gonna split Disneyland’s adventures with the folks into 2 parts k. PART one – Food and the flowers that intrigued my mum more than anything else in the park… *laugh* …and PART two which I will keep a surprise until the next post. Hehe. For now here are the pics. In case you’re wondering why mum got so carried away with the flowers (yes, more than anything else), you should take a look at these…. (pardon my lack of photography skills though… *laugh*)

But wait, before anything else let’s start from the very beginning – the anticipation my folks had on their maiden escapade to Disneyland. *laugh* I felt like a big mama taking my 2 kids out… *laugh* So cute… hahaha. Here we go! *grin*

Although we didn’t go on any of the rides (primarily because of the insanely long queue and also the fact that mum and dad wasn’t prepared to have their hearts fall out of their mouths), we still had a ball at the park because of all this…

…and this…

…and this…

…AND this… *laugh*

We practically ate our way through the entrance to the exit of the park! *laugh* At some points I totally forgot to take pics because we were so engrossed with the eating… *laugh* my bad my bad. Anyhoo, the ‘bite-of-the-day’ for us would be this massive turkey leg for which I had to queue up – almost 20 minutes!!!!! Worth the wait though. Totally YUM-MMMMMIE! Hehe.

And not forgetting the beautiful, colourful and interesting flowers that were out toooooo! *grin*

In the next post, I’ll tell you what my dad and I got up to... hehe… but for now, please continue to pray for Dipak k. Your prayers will definitely make the difference. *smile* Love you! Mwah!
