Our anticipation for the music festival was rewarded by the beautiful English weather, despite forecasts of showers in the day. To top it up, the atmosphere at the festival was amazing, with the presence of thousands of music enthusiasts (particularly the rock genre of course *laugh*), some rather interesting shops and lots of food stalls! *grin* I reckon, slightly more colourful compared to Global Gathering. *smile* Apparently there was an internet scam which left almost 5,000 people ticketless at the entrance, so we had random people coming up to us asking if we would sell our tickets (and later wristbands) just to get into the festival grounds.
getting in line for our VIP passes
guess who's hands these are? *laugh*
now you know why it's almost impossible to sneak in without a ticket? *laugh*

Thanks to Tuborg, we had the opportunity of going in as privileged guests, which meant we could eat our meals proper instead of having to camp and sit on the grass (which eventually became contaminated with beer spills and waste). Poor Kimberly and KC were almost freezing to death towards the later part of the night, but other than that I reckon we all had a good time. *smile*

you can never miss the typical festival food - bacon burger!
During the breaks Leonard and I took a walk around the festival grounds, and managed to check out a few interesting shops.
hat shopping with Leo
viking hat? nah... *laugh*
i ended up buying this one. Hehe.
Leo decided not to buy this though... brings out the feminine side of him, don't you think? *laugh*
I ended up getting myself a few items at bargain prices, true Malaysian style. *laugh* Can you imagine a sheepskin coat at 10 pounds? *wink*
