Banking made easy...
Written by Hannah Tan

I didn't get to sleep last night and doesn't look like I'm gonna be getting any sleep tonight either but I'm happy that it's been a very productive week. *smile* Feeling rather exhausted so trying to clear some time tomorrow night to rest up my throat for Friday's gig at Aloha Club. I think I could just fall asleep typing this *laugh* but gotta tahan a bit to finish up some work before my mixing session at the recording studio 1st thing in the morning.*yawn*Cari makan, cari makan! Haha.

Well I sure do hope your week is going well so far. *smile* Time flies though, doesn't it? Anyways the 20th December Christmas Charity Concert with Yours Truly and a few other friends from the industry is well on its way, so brace yourselves for a fun afternoon! Hehe.

Y'know I had meant to make a trip to the bank since last week but haven't actually managed to get that done because of my crazy work schedule (yes, I'm the headless chicken lives on! *laugh*). But this morning after my 9am presentation I actually realized I had an online e-banking account which I haven't used for the longest time. If only I realized that earlier this week! *laugh* Silly me! Haha.

Oh well... *laugh* Anyway, there I was in my car attempting to access my account online when I noticed that the site had a brand spanking new interface - so much simpler, cleaner and easier to navigate. Somehow the loading time seemed faster too. Haha. Very refreshing indeed. *smile* Have any of you seen the new RHB Bank website (https://logon.rhb.com.my/default.htm)? Took some screen shots for you if you haven't. Hehe. I personally like it better than the last. With the new re-registration page, you can reset your account password (which I did today! *laugh*) by simply typing in your ATM card number and pin. *wink*

And I found something else I am so so happy about in the new site - the Foreign TT feature! Now I can TT $ to Japan for my bills without having to go through the lines at the physical bank itself. So much easier. Imagine how much time I would save by doing things myself online instead of getting stuck in the long bank queues! Not a big fan of queues, so you go figure! Haha.

Oh and I also discovered a fast-growing list of billers which include hosting companies, hospitals, hotels, charity funds, colleges and even MOL (besides the usual utility companies)! I counted and found 189 billers on the list. Definitely an improvement from the previous site! Haha. Guys, you can even reload your mobile phone credit online via this site. *wink*

Yet to find another online e-banking site like this so thought I'd share this new discovery with you. Hehe. Check it out and let me know what you think la ya. I'm gonna have to move on to my proposals because I have less than 5 hours to work on it. Wish me luck and please keep me in prayer ya. Appreciate it. Love love LOVE you! Mwah~

EMERGE Harajuku Fashion Show Competition
Written by Hannah Tan
Tuesday, 24 November 2009

Harajuku was the theme and a few hours were all they had to prep their models for the big showdown last Sunday. Yet, they all did a pretty amazing job and for a moment I actually felt as though I was back in Harajuku, Tokyo! Haha.

the judging process... *smile*

Not only did the competing teams have to dress their model, they also did their own makeup, hair and storyline for the stage presentation of their individual creations. Yes, very different from the typical fashion competition indeed. *smile* Some of the concepts were very impressive and I reckon that THAT was what differentiated the winners from the rest of the finalists. Yet, this batch of finalists were a rare breed. Extremely talented and fully dedicated to the task, going out of their way to translate their ideas into a stage presentation. As one of the judges, I was truly impressed. *smile*

One more day to the gig at Aloha Club. Looking forward to seeing some of you there! *smile* My Japanese management company boss Hayakawa San will be there. So nervous!!! Hahaha. Anyways, I wanna share Bangkok pics with you soon!!! Mwah~

DiGi visit and autograph signing session
Written by Hannah Tan
Monday, 23 November 2009

I love working on weekends because I realize that my productivity level goes up when there are less incoming work calls and SMSes! Haha. It's amazing to know how much time is actually spent on SMSes without even realizing it. If only speech recognition for SMS exists. Dictating our SMSes would definitely be easier and faster than typing! *laugh*

Anyways speaking of weekends, it's always nice to have some quiet time to work on the business strategies, proposals, emails etc which is turning into a rarity now with the hectic year-end schedule. No complaints though because as long as I get to make the most of whatever time I have to finish up on pending work, I'm happy. *smile*

briefing at the holding room

such wonderful hospitality *smile* BEFORE...

...and AFTER the attack of the panda! Mwahaha!

civilized, cultured and very considerate Malaysians queueing up for a pic *smile*

picture taking!!! *grin*

This recent weekend, I had the honour of being invited to meet and spend some time with the DiGi Yellow Army (college and university representatives for DiGi) on Saturday, as well as the talented youth at the Emerge Youth Conference on Sunday (pics up tomorrow!). In between, we managed to slot in a few work meetings and paperwork for a few Monday morning deadlines, so all in all, it was a very productive weekend indeed. Happy happy! *smile*

Writing to you from Bangkok where I am for the night. Very short trip so trying to get as much as I can done (which includes the feasting! *laugh*). Back in the afternoon tomorrow for a meeting and rehearsals for the 27th November (this Friday) gig. 1 presentation to prepare for Wednesday morning in between so gonna have to be smart about time management tomorrow. *laugh* But for now, I'm gonna try and get some rest. 3.30am and time for a shut eye. Long day. *yawn* Nite nite guys. Love you! Mwah~

My Spy Premiere
Written by Hannah Tan
Saturday, 21 November 2009

You won't believe how nervous and anxious I was about the premiere last night! Hehe. It had already been a long eventful day at work, rushing back in forth from the shoot editing session to sponsors' meetings and a few other project developments (not to mention the fact that my car's fan belt 'putus' in the middle of the road when I was rushing for my 3pm meeting in KL! *laugh*). Nevertheless, the day couldn't have ended on a better note. My first appearance on the big screen! Woohoo~ Totally different from my music side of work and definitely one which I have much to improve on. *laugh* Long long way to go.... Haha.

Anyways, for those who promised to watch it more than once, please keep me updated on progress ya. *laugh* Meantime, if you haven't made any plans to catch the movie, then you definitely must do so now - once for me, once for the hot Daphne Iking and once for the beautiful Carmen Soo (oh and once for Rebecca too! Haha. She played a cameo in the movie... *ahem*). After that, you can let me know what you think! *smile*

Toilet breaks are a luxury
Written by Hannah Tan
Thursday, 19 November 2009

Yup, indeed. *laugh* It’s been an absolutely crazy week for the team and I at work with shoots, meetings, more shoots, paperwork and proposals etc pouring in all at one. Toilet breaks are now a luxury. Sleep’s old story. *laugh*

The week has gone by so fast, it’s scary!!! I always say there’s so much to do, so little time. Still praying for the additional hours to a day. GOD, help!!! *laugh* We’re working on the promo materials for the 20th December Christmas Charity Concert, so we have all the shoots, editing, etc to clear by the beginning of next week – time is of essence... At the same time, promo shoots for My Spy the movie are being slotted in. In fact TOMORROW’s the gala premiere of the movie at GSCMidvalley. I’m so nervous!!! Haha.

Writing to you from Fly FM’s studio now. Guest hosting the Night Flight with the hot and sassy Hunny Madu. Yay! *grin* Oh and guess what? At one of the shoots I had earlier today I bumped into Meet Uncle Hussein. *smile* Such sweet soft-spoken people. Invited them to do a song for the 20th December Charity Concert so we’ll see… *smile* Keeping fingers crossed! *grin*

Oh and Ivan, I’m trying to move the entire concert to KL for you… hehe. I reckon it’ll be easier for everyone too. Let’s see. Keep you guys updated on the venue but for now, 20th December 4pm is confirmed. Block it out!!! *grin*
