The same day we arrived at Birmingham airport, we made our way to London, which was an hour and a half by train from where we were at Stratford.

The first place I headed to in London was the Queen's Theatre at Shaftesbury Avenue that was showing Les Miserables. Kenny and I were the only ones interested to catch the play so we paid £42.50 each, got our tickets, had a quick bite across the street before rushing back to the theatre 15 minutes later to make our way to the designated seats for the world's longest running musical. Having played over 8,500 performances in London, it was no wonder why Les Miserables was such a hit. The staging itself is a wonder on its own.
makan time!
For those who haven't had the chance to go to London, there's still another contest for an all-expense-paid-trip to the Reading Festival with me during the 3rd week of August. *wink* Log on to thefunstartshere.tv for more info, but in the meantime, here are some pics of the city. *smile*
Jess in London
We ate a lot this trip. Siao Ling definitely fed us well. Our trip's sweetest lil' mama. *laugh* She's a darling. *smile*
supper!
Because we missed the last train out of London, we ended up staying in the city until the first train back to Stratford at 7.40am, which meant we actually stayed up more than 24 hours. *laugh* Well at least we managed to solve the jet lag issue... *laugh*
By the time we got back to the hotel, we were just in time for the last call on breakfast. *laugh* So makan again! *laugh*
breakfast!
After being up for so many hours, I was literally a zombie... *laugh* Managed to catch a few winks before making our way to the festival grounds. Oh ya, I forgot, we had food again before that! *laugh* Ok, more on the food bit tomorrow ya! *wink*
zombies on the loose!
