The camping area in Roskilde is divided into different ‘neighbourhoods‘, each with an agora of its own. An agora is like a square where activities take place. All in all there are 13 agoras catered to different activities like swimming, skate boarding, ice skating, music making, movie watching, etc… all for free! There’s even one with Internet facilities, complete with XBOX and online games… smack in the middle of an open field. Talk about having everything thought of in the planning process of the festival. Amazing!

I’ve never ice-skated in my life so I thought I’d give it a shot for TV. *laugh* Footages to be out on 8TV soon but for now, here are the pics. This particular agora offered ice-skating with a twist. *wink* Before you are given your skates, these two interesting fellas will pull you into a black box where you”ll subsequently be pimped up… *laugh*
Then you’ll be handed a piece of paper containing a task which you’re commissioned to carry out within the rink. Mine was to transfer Frank’s ‘balls’ from one end of the rink to the other. With my chest and no hands. *laugh* I suppose Frank is a name given to this particular agora. Still, I’m just guessing so don’t quote me ya… *laugh*
getting a hang of the skates and ball with my partner. Haha
ready to roll!
Frank was here. *laugh*
The sun is up almost 21 hours of the day, going down only at midnight and coming back up again at 3am! Psychologically because of that, you don’t feel too sleepy or tired until you actually hit the sack. The sun just messes with you brain man! *laugh* And with all the activities and ongoing concerts, some people get really tired at the festival and just crash. *laugh* Thankfully, the place is safe and the people are nice so you won’t have to worry about being robbed while napping. *laugh*

Sunny for 21 hours a day? That’s something different for an experience.
Cute hairdo though…
21 hours of Sun. ahhh…… warm. haha. but i especially like the part where the both guys pull people in and pimp them up. haha. wow, people can even take a nap in peace. incredible place.
21 hours of sun… hell for the nocturnals
