PETALING JAYA: The Star’s Total Football Coverage will cater to fans on four fronts.

Besides comprehensive news reports in the daily’s StarSport section, there will also be a Football Everyday pullout on Fridays, Football Everyday podcast and the newly-launched FootBlog. The Star
Group Chief Editor Datuk Wong Chun Wai, who launched the Total Football
Coverage at Menara Star here yesterday, said “nothing beats the EPL”.

“It is going to be back to normal on Saturday nights. So, let’s all join FootBlog and get the new season going,” said Wong.

pundit Serbegeth (Shebby) Singh, who joined actress cum TV host Hannah
Tan and representatives from various football fan clubs at the launch,
said FootBlog was timely for football fans.

“The FootBlog is really innovative.

“The
Star is starting a concept, which the major TV companies are also
looking at – the sharing of opinions on football on the Internet,” he
said.
