After one of our late work engagements this week, Jess, Leonard and myself adjourned to pig out at one of the most famous supper spots in KL. Opened till the wee hours of the morning, this is – the Pudu teo chew porridge spot. *wink*
Truth is, poor Jess had a tooth ache so we decided that porridge was probably the best and ummm… only option for her to fill her hungry stomach. OUR hungry stomachs actually. *laugh* Basically, all you’ll need for a satisfying teo chew porridge meal is the good ol’ salted egg and pickled Chinese lettuce. Of course, at places like these, you’re practically spoiled for choice with all the available condiments – from roasted duck (as in the pic) to vegetables and minced meat.
Well, if you’re home and wanna try a similar quick fix of the Malaysian teo chew
porridge, all you have to do is boil rice in a pot, with exessive water. That’lll give you the porridge. *wink* For taste, Bovril could potentially be the best option. *smile* My personal favourite
actually. Hehe. Just the plain porridge with a generous serving of
Bovril mixed in evenly. Yum yum yum!
So there you go – supper the true Malaysian way. *smile*

aaaahhh hungry now 1.16am now tomorow got exam =.= i need food now lol…. i also wanna join for supper!!!
*laugh* poor thing. Can try the quick fix if you have rice, a pot and Bovril. *wink* All the best for your exams tomorrow though ya. *smile* May the force be with you. *smile*
