I need a new camera!

Hey guys. Need your advice on this. Any recommendations for one that’s not too huge to lug around? *laugh* My existing Canon seems to be very sensitive to motion so pics tend to be a bit blurred…

    since u going japan
imo u go japan buy better cheaper and reliable there…. they have this point system u buy at electronic store redeem for a item worth the value…

i remember i always go japan buy a camera worth 1k lets say

then they give u 10% points = 100 bucks… then u use the 100 bucks change anything in the shop with the price tag of 100$

Canon S5 IS is the best compromise between normal point-and-shoot cams and Digital SLR Cameras.

Picture Quality is good, price are pretty reasonable. is heavier n bigger than our current Ixus 75 BUT..is lighter than the SLR. Is around the size of your Videocorder

Chill Hannah, your new camera will come soon. The ‘provider’ is having some ‘technical problem’ today so I couldn’t collect it as planned.

It’ll probably be available on Thursday :)

Wow, so many technical pros here. Hehe. Thanks for all the advice guys. And Galvin, cool~ Looking forward to it. By what you’ve shared it looks like the best bet’s either a Canon or Panasonic?

Oh and gcimagerunner, the Gossip event has nothing to do with H-Factor. Two different events altogether. *smile* Gossip is to promote the exercise of female rights against violence towards women. H-Factor this year is to promote the creative talent development among Malaysia’s youth. *Smile* Both for a good and positive cause tho… *smile*

TK, I didn’t know there were such discounts/rebates. But cool~ Nice to know. *smile* Thanks for sharing. *smile* And true, it’s the person behind the camera that’s also important. Good camera, not-so-good camera person also won’t work ya… Good point Ahmad. *smile*
