My favourite!

Since it’s the week of eating for most of us, I’ve decided to stick to the topic of the things that make me happy – FOOD! Hehe. Not sure if you’re into Japanese food but this is my absolute favourite. Introducing, my staple Japanese diet (I’ll probably die of high cholesterol! *laugh*)…

a plate of all my favourite things – ikura sushi, grilled teriyaki scallops and baked scallop topped with mushrooms and more roe! Yummy-yum-yum!

salmon sashimi – packed with omega 3! Haha

my mum’s favourite – soft shell crabs *grin*

So far, the best place to eat authentic Japanese food at a reasonable price (we’re ruling out the options of over-priced hotels ya…) is Rakuzen in Plaza Damas. Japanese chef extraordinaire Kame will always make sure that fresh cuts are presented in the best possible way. Freshness is also guaranteed, but since it’s so good, you’ll need to make reservations in advance in order to guarantee you a table for your meal. *smile*

gcimagerunner, true, true. Definitely not something i can afford to eat everyday, *laugh* but I reckon for the quality, pricing is reasonable. Hotel standards and Sushi King standards are the other 2 extremes. *laugh* Any good recommendations at your end?

Ivan, true, but when I was in Japan the last time, I was actually shocked to find that what we get here isn\’t the norm there. Throughout my week\’s stay there I didn\’t even touch sushi. =(

Marvin, I didn\’t know I had a clone! *laugh* Oh God, I totally understand what you mean. Makes 2 of us. Hehe.

TK, no doubt that we\’re on the same page eh? Hehe. So are you coming up for the Pg workshop? Decided yet? *wink*
