Covering 35 acres of land with
over 15,000 stalls and more than 200,000 visitors every Saturday and Sunday, the
Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok
is the mother of all markets – and possibly one of the biggest and most famous
markets in the world.
You can find almost anything and
EVERYTHING here – from food and household goods, to clothes, accessories and
even animals! *laugh* A must-visit for first timers in Bangkok, Chatuchak will give you a no-frills budget
shopping experience that requires high tolerance to crowds, heat and congestion.
*laugh*
Here I am in Bangkok to give you the best of what this
city has to offer – food, as always, will not be left out. *laugh* I just paid
my 500 baht daily subscription to give you this post and to tell you how much I
miss you guys. It’s been a hectic year-end for me but I’m grateful for internet
access which allows me to stay in touch. *laugh* Thank God for technology ya…
*laugh*
Visitors and tourists were
advised against wearing red and yellow today amidst the political unrest. I’m
off work today so may just stay in just to be safe. Will keep the pictures
coming in though so stay tuned! Mwaahhhhhhhhhh~
