I’m not sure about you but I
certainly felt as though time literally flew in 2008! Tempus fugit. The year passed in a flash, and as I reflect on the
events that took place in the past 12 months, I can’t help but be grateful to
God for keeping me sane throughout. *laugh* The team and I have definitely come
a long way and grown so much in such a short span, but still, we have a lot
more to learn and of course, a long LONG way to go. But having a clear goal and
vision certainly makes the difference. Especially when you’re sacrificing
weekends, public holidays and precious sleep to make sure things are done at
the very best. *smile* This year, we’ve set forth a bigger challenge – regional
expansion. Crazy, I know. *laugh* Judging from the random blogs I came across
recently, not many expect me to make it very far. But hey, I figured, if
expectations are low then chances of disappointment would be less too. *laugh*
That’s of course, moi looking on the
flip side of things. *smile*
I can’t say it’s been easy
though. Somehow life for me has never been a breeze, but just as my average
income parents worked hard to bring me up in the best way they possibly could,
it’s only my duty to do the same, making sure they have a comfortable life
after all the hardship and sacrifice. Still working very hard at it, but I
believe I’m slowly getting there. *laugh* I’m blessed to have a supportive
family, not to mention a beautiful mum that constantly checks my blog to find
out if I’m still alive. *laugh* Oh and did I mention that she recently signed
up with our online family? I’m so proud of her. My computer savvy mummy. Hehe… Let’s
hope she will also get the hang of posting up comments soon! *grin*
Anyway, I’m glad to have all of
you supporting and encouraging me throughout 2008. Your presence in my life certainly
made the difference. And believe it or not, you ALWAYS give me a reason to
smile and be thankful, even during my worst of days. Thank you so so much~
*smile*

Life is rarely a breeze for anyone. Quoting a lyric from a song I’ve come to like,
God put us here on this carnival ride
We close our eyes
Never knowing where it will take us next
As i’m speaking January 2009 is gone with the wind already… Busy hectic schedule like yours, time definitely flies. *smile*
Random blogs ? Try random talks over those mamak among friends…. Well, no matter what the outcome is, at least u’ve tried. been there, done it ! Yea, people did said very nasty things and have very negative opinions bout your regional expansion, but hey, who cares, u have us guys and gals here, that is 100% positive. *wink*
Well of course making sure your parents have comfortable life after having all the hardship is one thing. But i think no matter what your parents would definitely still rather u are comfortable and happy with your work and have your own happy family one day. heheh
