Phantom of the Opera

Jamie and I
finally got our big butts out of the house yesterday, but out of all the places
in Perth, we
ended up at the Burswood Theatre
watching Phantom of the Opera.
*laugh* No regrets though. *smile* Although it was the second time for the both
of us, Phantom of the Opera didn’t
fail to impress yet again. In fact, I reckon the Phantom was played even better
than the last one I watched in London
a couple of years back. *smile*

A furry friend I came across after the show. Hehe.

Oh and tickets
were surprisingly much cheaper too. Haha. We couldn’t get much done after the show though, because all the shops were already closed for the
day. And even at 9pm, KFC had already stopped all operations, not to mention the local F&B outlets. *laugh* We ended up
having Kebabs… Haha.

I almost fell asleep watching Phantom of the Opera in cinema. I got loads of goosebumps while watching it, just can’t take it. LOL. Maybe this could be a little bit different, this is the one where people act on stage right? If I’m not mistaken

I guess singing shows are just not my type. Apart from American Idol.

Haha. Poor Shaunie. It’s really not that bad becuase seeing live acting/singing, props, costumes and of course a live orchestra makes quite a bit of difference. I reckon it’s the experience. But hey, for some people, it’s just not their cuppa tea, so I don’t blame you. ‘A’ for effort then. *Wink*

Shaun, the theatre is quite big if you’re comparing it to KLPac. *laugh* And yes, the Phantom wears a mask, and sings quite a bit throughout because he’s the lead character in the whole story. But all the music and songs in this particular story are actually quite pleasing to the ears (generally), compared to a few other musicals. More digestible for the mainstream listener, I mean. *smile*

WY, thanks for the tip and welcome to our family! *smile* Hope you’re settling in with us ok. *smile*

GW, all the fun’s at home! Haha. I managed to do some cooking this trip, so quite happy. TIme for me and my food is always good. Haha.

Keith! How are you? Took some time off Japan for my sis, and in some ways it’s doing good for my body too. Getting sleep and rest, not to mention some quality time alone to think, reflect and read. Haha. Time slows down a tad here, which is perfect for me now. Haha. I love Perth. *Smile*
