Swan Valley, Perth

One of the must-visit places in Perth is Swan Valley
where you’ll be able to find everything from wine tasting to art galleries.
It’s a perfect spot to awaken the senses, tantalise the tastebuds and escape
the hustle and bustle of city life, as tourism Australia puts it… *laugh* If
you’re following the speed limit (which is 60km/h BTW!) you should get to Swan Valley from central Perth in 40 minutes or so. Haha. So
technically, it’s not that far off
the city. *laugh*

I found a Bunga Raya in Swan Valley! Haha

Being Western Australia ‘s oldest wine growing region, Swan Valley offers a unique wine
tasting experience amongst the vast vineyards (for free, which is what
Malaysians would love… haha). Oh and what’s better is that the free tasting
experience is not just limited to the wines at the vineyards but also the
chocolates, honey and beer at their respective stations/factories within the
valley. *wink*

 fresh ice cream!

I had a ball at the honey farm, with so many different types of
raw and natural honey. My personal recommendation for colds and sore throats, Jarrah (the next best alternative to Manuka honey which is found in New Zealand)
honey can only be found in the forests of Western Australia.
Interestingly enough, pure Jarrah honey
can be used for regular treatment for those suffering bacterial infections
since research has confirmed the healing power of this particular forest honey.
Containing naturally high anti-bacterial properties, Jarrah honey can also be applied on wounds and cuts to promote
healing. Unbelievably true!
