Thank-God-for-friends day! *grin*

I declare today a
thank-God-for-friends day! Haha. If only I had the power to declare public
holidays too. Haha. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce you to 2 of the nicest
people in Tokyo.
*smile*Although I don’t have many friends in Japan, I consider myself very
fortunate to have people that look out and care for me as part of their family
like these two very special people. *smile* One of the most sincere, generous,
kind, thoughtful, caring and hospitable couple I know in Japan. I call
them Shimazaki papa and Akiko mama! Hehe.

They’re the sweetest, and despite
the language barrier, they have been most gracious indeed, from my first visit
till this very day. I’m so blessed to have people like them who make me feel
like home away from home. *smile* Thanks to them, I’ve seen some of the most
interesting places in Tokyo
and eaten some of the best food too. Hehe. Will share more with you in time to come. As always, I can never stray too far from the topic of FOOD. Hehe. So stay tuned…
*grin*

Yeah, generally the Japanese are very attentive to their guests and they care a great deal about how their guests are treated even by their own friends and family members. Good to hear that you have ‘a home away from home’ there Hannah! =)
