Since
I’m stuck in the office preparing for this year’s audit and income tax with no
action to share these couple of days, I thought I’d cover more of the best
things in life… *laugh* Today, allow me to introduce you to the Japanese grill,
robata. *smile* This particular place
I went to for my first real robata meal
in Tokyo was
hidden in one of the alleys off the main street. Alone, I wouldn’t have
discovered this place – not in a million years man~ *laugh*
Now
that you’ve seen the outside, let’s check out the inside… *wink*
I
reckon the best seats in the house are the ones at the bar – right in front
of the food supply where you can keep a close eye on what to devour next. Haha.
For me, at least. *laugh*
You can get almost everything here – from vegetables
to giant seafood like this! Haha.
Grilled,
the food may not look too tasty, but trust me, these clever chefs made sure
enough salt and spices were added to make it taste just right. One thing about
the Japanese is that they look into every inch of detail, meaning taste and
presentation is never less than the very best. *smile*
Oh
and they may look small compared to the Europeans, but by golly do the Japanese
have big stomachs! R-e-s-p-e-c-t! Haha. I was stuffed right up to my brains for this
meal, but a happy camper I was nevertheless, thanks to my gracious hosts.
*smile* This is the kind of hospitality I would never say no to. Haha. Thank
God for food, and for nice wonderful people who lead you to that… *big-grin*

Another yummy post. Love the look of that crab… oh my.. I am drooling again…
Btw, have you tried the Kobe beef or Wagyu beef? Heard that it’s very expensive and taste very nice.
Makes me hungry.. food looks really good..
Woah the food from the looks of the picture looks really fresh especially the sashimi! Nice!
all things jap is good heh?
Hope you aren’t doing all the auditing paperwork.. hehehe.. We are energizer.. but battery only last if we charge it enuf, hannah. =) Looks yummy… I’m thinking of Japanese food now even when it is soo late now.. lol. We go for Japanese food, hannah… errr… not in Japan la. =p Maybe later with more savings.
WoW ! Looks Nice & Delicious, so hungry.. Hehe
Hey Hannah mana Makanlah, Bananarama so do I, hehe, sorry for expressing my care in a weird way in the previous posts. Anyways, the food really look tantalizing! It’s great you’re not allergic to any of it, and are able to fully enjoy it. I’d love to have those crabs but my lips would swell up like an auto-inflatable life jacket in no time, hahaha!
So which one was your favourite? I would really love to try the fried onigiri since it’s a non-conventional way of preparing it. Normally they don’t deep fry onigiris right?
By the way, I thought you majored in Computer Science. How would you know anything about auditing? Hehe, did you just pray to GOD one night and woke up with an extra talent? Haha!
this is past weeks 4 Hannah got her hair bob rite?
hi..hannah nice food,dan makan banyak-banyak..ok.
I will Fareez, thanks! Hehe. *smile*
What hair bob Adli? Haha
Jerome, poor thing you. Allergic to crabs only or seafood in general? But yes, its unconventional to have grilled onigiri in Malaysia, although a few restaurants serve it. *smile* The rice here somehow tastes different though, but if you’re not too particular then you should be a happy camper. *smile* My favourite among all of those up there is the crabs. Hehe. Oh but I also loved the scallop. Aiks. Hehe. Oh and yes, CS was my major but you never know what you have to get yourself into these days to cari makan eh? Hahaha.
Andrew, it actually tastes better than it looks since I’m not a very good photographer. Haha.
CS, don’t worry, my company’s only a tiny little one so still manageable. Haha. But thanks, I’ll charge my batt soon. Haha.
Rebecca! My fellow glutton. Hehe. How’s business? *smile*
Edwin & Danny, yes yes yes indeed. Haha.
Marv, yes I have. Very tender. Not much of a meat person though… Haha. I guess it was a waste on me. Haha.
Guys, Danny’s OUT of AI!
