Brainstorming

Can’t sleep and brain dead now so thought of deviating from work a lil. Haha. Need your input, if that’s ok with you… *smile* Thinking of doing a 2010 calendar to raise funds for the upcoming H-Factor community service initiative. Just wanna see what you guys think about 2 things:

1) Pricing (how much would you pay, which would pretty much determine how much we should be spending on production/quality)…

2) …and what kind of calendar you’d like to see (no nudity of course… *laugh*)

I’m all ears so shoot! *grin*

You need to have juice (fruity ones).. =)
    1) RM10-RM20 (Depends on what type of calender.)
    2) Artistic photography. Depend on which charity.

Heya Hannah, what kind of calendar are you thinking of? Wall, table, pocket, planner or something more functional?

I’d buy a planner. Who doesn’t need a planner? I think it’d be great to have one. You could even put your inspirational quotes and stuff like that. For that I’d pay say…no more than RM15. For a table calendar, it’d be around RM10-12.

Picture shots of you and your celebrity friends would be great =)

Erm… i would purchase if it’s within RM 50 plus a bit of other free gifts..n probably your photos as well on the calendar^^

hi, i’d pay abt RM15 for it. you should have simple illusion pics yet sophisticated. then have some motivational or positive quotes/sentence for it. i’d be pleasant enough.

Personally the price should be decide by the size of the calender. Below are my idea
    1) Wall calender with the size around 40cm x 60cm – RM 50
    2) Table calender 5cm x 10cm – RM 20
    3) Pocket size calender – RM 8

But i think pocket size will be better and can attract more ppl provided you put in different photo for each pocket calender. You shouuld have 12 different photo so ppl will buy as collection. 12 x RM 8 for your die hard fan. Others who are stingy are still willingly to fork out RM 8 for charity. So can cover different level of ppl.

    Haiya. HRU?
Lets come down to business. If its for a charity then decent stylish picture. RM25 (Just right & most can afford) – RM50 (Tough but maybe IF you give it during the launch.) for the desk calendar with a big poster of you in RED would attract people. Add in a write-up of the charity & how we can help them. Make it like a contest. Have a coupon for people to reply so maybe they can go for a dinner with you? That will boost the sales.

    1) Price depends on quality and content. Would suggest RM20-30 price range, not necessary on high quality paper but a reasonably quality which reflects the images and contents or messages effectively (printing cost now don’t come cheap)

2)Could be a calendar with moral messages, sceneries, a collection of Hannah’s wallpapers, models, friends of Hannah or puzzles along with redemption gifts or coupons..Anyway, what ever the content should it be, kindly inform..I’d be glad to support..Take care, Cheers!

    Regards, Matthew

    1) I guess RM 20-30 would be a decent price :)

    2) Umm… Happiest moments in your life?

    1. Price – as pointed out by others, the price vary depending on the type, size, material, point of sales, production volume, etc. IMO, a decent table calendar with a unique H-Factor design would be perfect. I shall assume your targeted audience are more toward the youth. So, price tag should range from RM10-20.

    2. What kind of calendar? If possible, something out of this world. Assuming H-Factor is still about creative content, it would be great if the calendar itself deliver the right message unconditionally. A 12 pages of inspiring H-Factors! (1st page is of course Hannah Tan!)*laugh*

Wawaweewahh!!! Very3 Interesting indeed, is the line still open for suggestions?

    Fire at will…

    1. Price wise, generally RM20 – RM30 should be just right. Dont mind paying more. A nice wall or desktop calendar will be good. can also include pocket size Cal in the package. Nothing too Big. Something simple, nice, elegant and unique. Have it clean just like Apple packaging, nothing too busy like Microsoft packaging (hehe kidding only ok). Have the visuals on 1 side and the other sides with the dates, make sure to have spaces for scribbling notes.

    2. Hmmm, of course we wanna see lots of Hannah (possibly on every pages hehehe). In a Unique Presentation (Unique Photography/Illustrations or mixed of Digital Wizardry).

    On the Visuals :

    A. Nothing Too Sexy and Raunchy (Not it looks like a “Sanyo” Calendar or Automotives Calendar (can leave that to the GT girls, you’re well sophisticated and all mature to do those stuffs)). Good Artistic Images of you or anything revolving around your interests. And includes some Motivating Quotes specially from you.

    B. 1 suggestion would be :- you can post up a brief, covering what you like or whats your interests (eg-Speed, Food, Traveling and etc etc) spanning across 12 months and may also include a set of 12 photos of you shot on a green screen (mail it to the ones confirming to participate only), to the Legions of Fans you have on Facebook. Let their Creative Juices flow (in any means necessary) accordingly to the brief. Surely at least there’ll be 100 designers/artists. Lets say 50 participated and you get to choose from 50 different unique artworks for the 12 pager Cal plus 3 or 4 for the additional pages. Whalllaa you’ll get all sorts of different styles and designs revolving around you. Can even use different pics all the time for the next 3 years. The selected ones (all 12) gets to go for a roundtable 2hour Luncheon with Hannah Tan (That’ll be a motivating factor innit).

    C. How many areas are there the “H Factor – H2″ is covering? Maybe you can have visuals for each of the speakers interacting with you in their selected environment for every other months.

In the end the possibilities is endless. Just need to Lock On the “Super Ideas” and get down to it. After all its for the Fans out there. Reserved 2 personalized copies for me in advanced, please. Thanks.

have a Fantastic Sunday and a Prosperous weeks ahead. I just had 2 weeks of holiday, come Monday it’ll be All Systems Go again. Just need a Brilliant Kick Start. Go Go Thunderbirds !!!

    Chenquieh : )
