g Hotel, Penang

I’m back at my hometown for the g Hotel Annual dinner and for the first time in months I managed to get a good 7-hour sleep last night after our H-Factor Penang Chapter meeting (pics up tomorrow *wink*). I am now feeling refreshed and ready to roll! Haha. And thanks to Mr. Marco Battistotti, Dev and the team at g Hotel, I feel so comfy and at home. Upon arrival I received a personally written welcome card by the big man of g Hotel Mr. Marco himself followed by the signature g Hotel welcome ice-cream (yeah!) and then an introduction to the Executive Suites on the 19th floor. Check it out… *wink*

the view of Gurney Drive from the 19th floor *smile*

study/living area (study table not visible in this pic)

panda’s sleepy-time area… haha

see-thru bathroom hehe

iPod player

bundled with love… *smile*

My support team Manager Leonard said he had problems deciding where to sleep in his room because it was so big. *laugh* I especially appreciated the complimentary broadband access, iPod player and rubber ducky (apparently the most popular item to be stolen by hotel guests! *laugh*) most. *smile* Oh and the shark fin soup at their Chinese restaurant Sesame & Soy is probably one of the best I’ve tasted. Less than RM40 and you get a whole chunk of REAL shark fin, scallops, another chunk of crab meat and a base of steam egg in 1 bowl. Yum-meeeee! If I’m Penang again the next time I actually WOULD go back there just for the shark fin, a winner. *grin*

the winner! haha

Definitely looking forward to spending a weekend or so OFF work here again before the year ends, if ever that’s possible… *laugh* We’ll see. It’s amazing how much 7 hours of good sleep can do and I believe being away from KL once in a while can do me some good. *laugh* Of course, having a nice bed like the one I slept in last night plays a big part too. *laugh* g Hotel will definitely be my number 1 choice for the next trip up north. Happy happy panda. Hehe.

I’m gonna try and hit the sack before 2am today and try to get my second consecutive 7-hour therapeutic sleep. Ahhh… nite nite guys! Oh and keep 20th December free from 2 – 8pm k. Limited tickets. Hehe. Keep you guys posted on the details soon. Mwah~

Hey Hannah Tanna Bobannana Sleeky Sleepy Lucky Ducky, hehe, good to see you’re spending time back in both your hometown AND dreamland, hehe. This hotel should be expecting a hike in room bookings, now that they’ve got such good recommendations and “endorsement” from a celebri-T, hehe, you should’ve squeezed some juice outta this lemon here what.

Who would’ve thought one could say, “I enjoyed such wonderful hospitality and food in GH that I want to check-in again as soon as possible!”, haha. Now THERE’s a very classy Nineteenth-Floor Executive Suite for a None-Flawed-Thin Exact-Cute-Teethed Sweet, hahaha! Wow, the things coffee and an advertising guy can come up with at 3 o’clock in the morning, hehe.

Anyways, I would’ve appreciated this entry to the max if it ain’t because there’re shark’s fins involved, plus that view of the murky sea and the fact that I just came back from watching “This Is It”. Without sounding like an environmental freak, I just think we all have responsibilities, no matter how big or how small, to spread the message of sustaining the Earth, in which GOD made us as keepers. Enough(!) said(?)

Went to watch “This is it” too over the weekend. Wow, excellent preparations they’re making. Top notch, good synchronised dancers, musical arrangements and what nots. pity it didnt get to be realised. Wonder how they felt afterwards. kesian.

oohhhh and the murky sea in Penang Gurney Drive. They actually thrown in EM(Effective Microbes) Balls recently in there, supposedly to clean the water. With 80+ counts of different Microbes mixing in there, it’ll be even more dangerous now. so do not go in there. might end up turning into a mutant? : )
    so much for environmentally friendly.
