Avatar, the movie, was just released in Japan not too long ago and after the week’s hard work, I decided to reward myself to an evening out to catch the movie with a few of my classmates. *grin* We had ramen for dinner before that right after class at this tiny shop in one of the alleys at Shibuya, and boy did it taste good! It was yummy yummy and I reckon I’d go back there again sometime soon! Haha. Just talking about it makes me hungry again! Haha.

It was my first time to the cinema in Japan and I have to say it’s very different from Malaysia in terms of ticketing. It’s free seating at the cinema so whether you buy tickets earlier or just before the show, it won’t make a difference.

No seat selection and the price of the ticket is ¥1800 (RM60++), excluding drinks and popcorn. At that price I could get a Gold class ticket at GSC or 6 normal tickets in Malaysia! Haha. But guess what?! There’s a flip side to the Japanese language classes (apart from the tests we have to go through! Haha), because with the student ID card they gave me, I got a ¥300 discount on my ticket! Hehe. So I only paid ¥1500 (RM50). My drink and popcorn cost me about ¥980 (about RM34) though…haha. Japan standards! What can I say? The most expensive city to live in remember? *laugh*

It was a great experience though and despite the price difference (can’t seem to get over the habit of converting everything to RM! *laugh*), I still enjoyed the movie. Fantabulous graphics I must say. Kudos to the director and motion graphics team. Brilliant movie. I enjoyed it thoroughly. *smile*

After the movie as we were heading back to the Shibuya train station, we bumped into this group of people that were giving out free hugs! Hahahaha. Hilarious! But I must say I was rather fascinated with the fact that these happy people were patiently standing out there in the cold waiting to give someone a hug. Spread the love ay? Hehe.

Decided to leave them a warm Malaysian panda hug…! Haha.

Looking forward to my first live gig in Japan this Monday at Kabuto Live House. If you’re in Tokyo, come drop by k! Hehe. Enjoy your Sunday! *grin*

Hug hug hug hug ALL of you. BIG BIG hug! Ya! Haha.*hug-hug-hug*

Haha go this weekend la. Haha. And yes, you should. I just learnt that there are a lot of things in Malaysia that I have taken for granted. Like cheap chicken rice meals, teh tarik, nasi lemak, nice movie theatres with decent priced snacks, decent priced massages, manicures and ummm….waxing! Have been looking for a place to wax but it doesn’t seem like Japanese women are very fond of getting rid of the bush so…haha.

Adli, agreed! Haha. And yeah enough sleep until now! I’m a zombie today. Haha. But I reckon the weather makes a big difference. And less stress in some ways cuz I don’t have to drive and get stuck in traffic! Hahahaha. p/s: Christmas concert – Will get you something to watch by next month hopefully. Haha.

Marv, I didn’t get to see it in 3D unfortunately. Just a normal 2D format and yeah, EXPENSIVE! Tell me about it! Hahahaha. Everything here is expensive. :-(

Esquire! Hey you. *smile* Hahahaha so cute you. Ok set. I’ll look for the free hugs cardboard sign ya! Haha. Last nite was cool. The older aunties who came to watch were so enthusiastic it was so cute! Haha. And the kani meal was brilliant. I can never get enough of crabs. Makes me really crabby right? Hahahahaha. Let me ask for the name of the restaurant and let you know ya. Will post pics up as well soon. Hehe.

AS! Yes you can and here you go!!!!! *hug-hug-hug-hug-hug* x 10000000. Hehe.

Adli, FHM out ka? Alamak. Malunya…hehe. What’s AHM BTW?
