The death of Yasmin Ahmad was such a tragedy and a big loss for the entertainment industry as a whole. Not only did we lose an extraordinary film director, but also a prominent voice in sync with the 1 Malaysia spirit of unity. She boldly reiterated the unspoken significance of breaking all racial and cultural barriers in the true definition of 1 Malaysia despite a few random disapprovals.
Nevertheless, our national film icon did not lose focus of her identity and the message she had set to deliver from the very start, and with this last work of art, she has reminded us that the art of forgiveness can be acquired by all walks of life, regardless of race, religion and culture. Acquired, simply because the art of forgiveness can be something that some take a lifetime comprehend, let alone apply.
So with this, let’s all make a conscious effort to exercise forgiveness on the people who have wronged us, both past and present. *smile* There’s no better to start the new year than to leave all our grudges behind. *grin* Love you lots! Mwah~

Met her once during a seminar. She is a interesting lady. Her talent will be missed. Her wisdom & work will move on…
