I had my first test today! Haha. Nerve-wrecking. And believe it or not, I actually had nightmares last night from trying to memorize all the vocab, grammar placements and hiragana! *laugh* Man, I can’t believe I’m back to the learning environment again. Come to think about it, the last time I was in a classroom was more than 9 years ago! *laugh* Which reminds me that I’m not getting any younger either! Haha.
Anyways, trying to get this rusty brain of mine back in study motion. Need the momentum to memorize new Japanese vocab and apply them correctly in proper sentences too… *laugh* Not sure what the test results will be for me but I’ll let you know even if I don’t do too well ya. *laugh*
BTW I finally got down to taking a class pic for you guys. So, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, meet my wonderful classmates…. Hehe *drumroll*

our pretty Komiya Sensee is the one at the far right whose holding up the flyer of my upcoming gig *grin*
My Japanese management boss Hayakawa san got us tickets to watch a live Sumo match this Sunday and I’m soooooo excited about it! Can’t wait to share the experience with you! But till then, hope you’re having a fantabulous start to the weekend!!! *grin* Big warm hugs! xxx

Hope you pass you first Japanese language test…
Maybe good idea to ask your sensei to teach the class about Japanese taboos. Then have a Japanese culture test. Many things we take for granted actually irks the Japanese. If you want to ‘cari makan’ in Japan, you need to be aware of those things. Eg. ‘Jap’ to the Japanese, is like ‘Negro’ to African-Americans.
