I had the honour of meeting some of the nicest and most supportive Japanese people last night. *smile* They really made an effort to make me feel accepted and welcomed and I was so touched by their warmth and hospitality during yesterday evening’s session. The day couldn’t have ended on a better note and I felt so happy to meet them. *smile*

At the same time, I was introduced to my first taiyaki, which is a Japanese fish-shaped dessert made out of waffle batter.

The most common filling is red bean paste but the ones I received came in a variety of red bean, chocolate and custard filling plus one more with a white-bean paste which I could not figure out… it’s so oishii! *grin*

The ones I had were made by Onagaya. Check out their website *smile*:
My ultimate favourite of the week is the green tea with red bean filling, but I also like the chocolate one too! Actually all of the flavours are nice. Hehe. Gotta get more! Yummilicious!!!!
