Selemat Hari Merdeka!!! *grin* Wonder what you guys are up to today being a public holiday…hehe. For me, it’s pretty much the same routine as we’re on schedule for 50 in-store live performance for the next couple of months, the first one being this Friday (3rd September) in Shibuya’s Yamada Denki (Labi) @ 4pm Tokyo time. *grin*
Anyways, since I got the green light from the Editor himself (thanks Robert! *smile*), I thought it would be nice to start of the month of September with some behind-the-scenes shots of the September cover shoot I did with CLIVE MAGAZINE during my last trip back to Malaysia. Geek issue it was and yup, since I’m not the only one who reckons I’m more of a geek than glamour girl, the shoot turned out to be quite a ball. I definitely had a blast. *laugh* You’re officially the first to see these so here we go….!!! Hehe.

Credit for these pics goes to the oh-so-talented multitasking stylist Calvin Cheong (thanks for making my camera come to live Calvin! *laugh* You had some pretty funky shots in there…nice!)

Ming Wong who did my hair and makeup turned out to be quite a model himself…hehe. Thanks Ming, great job masking my flaws! Hehe.

Thanks to pro-photographer Eric Chow of Blink Studio, we now have the GEEK spread of the September 2010 issue on local news stands now. Since i’m a 7-hour flight away from home, I won’t get to flip through the pages like you do, so I’m crossing my fingers that someone will save me a copy for until I get back the next trip! Hehe.

Till the next post, have a fantabulous day today and please eat some roti canai for me (anyone know of any good roti canai in Tokyo? Hehe)!! Love you most. Mwahhhhhh!

Hey Shedo, cool! Which part of Ginza? Must check it out hehe. Is it as good as the average roti canai we get back in Malaysia? *grin* And look forward to seeing you tomorrow! *smile*
PZD, you\’re far too kind. *smile* Return schedule to Malaysia still very vague because of the Jp launch but once my management gives me the green light, it\’s THAT way which I\’d be heading to – home sweet home. Hehe. For now, need to focus on my Jp commitments first. Will keep you updated and thanks for asking PZD. *smile*
Esquire, haha you\’re so cute as always. Haha. Well, I must say though, that it looks better in pics. Haha. And yes we did a bun-up shot for you. Haha. I\’m still waiting for the jpg file of the cover from the mag so until now I still have no idea what it looks like. I hope I don\’t give anyone of you a nightmare back there in Malaysia! *laugh* Big hugs for you…mwah!
My dearest Adli *smile*… thanks for keeping your comments coming in despite the fact that I\’m not as efficient as you in the replies. You never fail to make me smile. *smile* Oh and ya, MEIJI\’s their off-the-shelf choc – I would say equivalent to the Cadbury since it\’s so accessible, and it\’s yummy!!!! Haha. I like.
You better eat yours before it expires. Give you more when I have the chance to so please eat!!!! Haha. I wish I could spend Raya back home too but I guess duty calls here and regardless, the show must go on. *smile* Thanks for cheering me on from back home though. Makes all the diff! *smile*
SS, really? Hehe. Those were the days ay…? Hehe. I can still remember all those heavy text books, buku latihan, etc we used to have to carry on our backpacks to school. Donkey years ago – for me that is. Haha. Gosh I feel so old now. Hahahaha.
