Fact: Penang is the biggest producer of gluttons. I am a guilty product. *laugh*

I reckon all Penangites will agree that you CAN take the girl out of Penang, but you can never take Penang out of the girl. Food is the essence of a true Penangite, which leads to this timely post! Hahaha.

It’s been a while since I caught up with my childhood buddy Rebecca (who’s now an established business woman and celebrity blogger at that, mind you!) so being able to pig out with her over work this afternoon was definitely a treat for me. *grin*

So much to catch up on, so little time. Nevertheless we had a ball. No doubt about it. *laugh*

The company was great but the food was a bonus. I somehow stumbled upon this particular restaurant/café in Bangsar Village during one of my meetings earlier this week and was particularly fascinated by the tea set in which my raspberry green tea was served in. Didn’t quite get to eat at that time, so today was a perfect comeback!!! Mwahahaha!

Being typical Asian through and through, my taste buds tend to favour the non-Asian cuisine a little less than my peers. Nevertheless I was in for a pleasant surprise this afternoon despite being greeted by an introduction to French cuisine by my good friend.

I had the salad, seafood soup, beef stew, and 2 heavenly desserts which equated to total bliss. Thumbs-ups to T Forty Two! *smile* There’s nothing like being at work with someone you trust, in the company of glorious food. Happy happy! *grin*
