For a change, I’m wearing something I personally designed. Simple, not too fancy, yet fully functional. *laugh*

It’s not easy to find black-gold dresses off the rack, unless you are matching an outfit using separate pieces (top/bottom combination). The other challenge would be finding the right material for your touch of gold, I’m sure some of you ladies here would share the same sentiments. *laugh* When posed with the challenge of finding the right black-gold-themed dress for the last JW Black Circuit event, I initially tried going last minute shopping but totally gave up in disappointment and resorted to making…THIS!

As you might’ve noticed, the black portion of the dress IS the magic. *laugh* It helps create the illusion to make you appear slimmer than you actually are. Gentlemen, sorry to disappoint you. *laugh*

As always, I’m an advocate of chunky accessories, although I don’t recommend overdoing it. If you’re going chunky on the fingers/wrists then keep it simple at the ears/neck. It’s always nice to experiment so try different combinations to see what works best for you. Remember ladies, there are no rules with creativity. As long as you feel comfortable, you are bound to carry your outfit with full confidence. You go girl!!
